Discovering the Temple of Vecna

The Adventures of Jasper Havelock

This is a concept piece for the Temple of Vecna, and I thoroughly enjoyed working on it. I especially enjoyed defining the architectural style. I drew a lot of inspiration from the fusion of Gothic architecture and Art Deco.

The primary aim of the arrival shot was to unmistakably signify to D&D fans to whom the temple belongs. As a fan of the game system myself, I enjoy creating works that reflect the descriptions imagined within the Tabletop RPG world.

Jasper Havelock is my own character – an avid explorer and relic hunter from Waterdeep on a quest to unravel an old family mystery.
